Congratulations to Melody Randol At the opening reception for QUILT VISIONS 2014; THE SKY’S THE LIMIT, Melody Randol was presented with the QUILTS JAPAN AWARD for her work Still Waters. The QUILTS JAPAN AWARD is given to the artist whose work will encourage and inspire quilt artists internationally. It is sponsored by Japan Handi Crafts Instructors’ Association and Nihon Vogue Co. Ltd. Melody has been invited to spend one week in Japan in 2015 and teach other quilt artists. She is most honored to receive such an award.

Sue Lewis on Display in Estes Park “On the Way There” (on the right) and “Solace” (quilt in the middle) will be exhibited in the Lines into Shapes show at the Estes Park Art Center, November 1 through 16. Opening reception will be 4-8 pm, Saturday, November 1st. The art center is just south of the Stanley Hotel at 517 Big Thompson Ave, Estes Park.
