More ways to connect

Do you ever feel overwhelmed by the amount of communication you receive?Social Media

I know I do especially during voting season. But I also have enjoyed being able to connect and learn about SAQA members through their blogs, facebook pages, twitter feeds and video’s. Last week in response to my request to get to know each other, I received a link to a wonderful video posed on Utube from SAQA member Kathy Genz. If a picture is worth a thousand words, then certainly a video is worth a hundred thousand.

She is a featured artist on video through the Pikes Peak Library District.   Kathy’s Utube video was filmed in January, 2014 to highlight her evolution as an art quilter.  The fabrics that are featured are Kathy’s snow dyed fabrics.

I am admitting that I have an addiction to Amazon Prime’s free shipping and now I have a reason to feed my addiction. It’s a great way to help my favorite organization because  SAQA now registered with Amazon Smile.

When you shop via Smile.Amazon.com (which is identical to Amazon.com, except for the smile in the URL), they will donate 0.5% of your purchases to SAQA.

1) Go to http://smile.amazon.com/

2) Search for SAQA, then select it as your charity recipient.

3) YOU shop. Amazon GIVES.
