You might QIAHandout_B_Page_1be surprised to know that dedicated quilters have been working in this media for over 20 years. They are well educated and are affluent. These dedicated quilters spend over $3000 a year on quilting.

The Colorado Quilting Council invites you to their meetings.  Meeting start at 10AM and the speaker starts around 11AM.  Guest fees are $10. per meeting.  Dues for 2015 are only $25.  Fill out the membership form on line or at a meeting to receive the newsletter and free admission to meetings, access to the library, reduced class fees, etc.  See the entire 2014 CQC schedule, maps, membership forms, class registration and other details at www.ColoradoQuiltCouncil.com.  

December 5 will be the opening of The Art of Fiber: 50 Years of the Handweavers Guild of Boulder   with a reception 3-7 PM.  The fiber art show includes works by numerous invited artists with national stature, a juried exhibit, and a historical timeline.  The exhibit will run until January 16, 2015.

Call for Entries : Rocky Mountain Quilt Museum 25th Anniversary Challenge

What inspires you?   Make a 25-inch-square quilt to celebrate something that has inspired you during the last 25 years.   Compete for cash prizes!   All entries will hang at RMQM with the 25th anniversary exhibit in 2015!,Located at 1213 Washington Ave, downtown Golden.  RMQM is open 10-4 Monday through Saturday and 11-4 Sundays. There is plenty of free parking in the lot behind the museum.
