It’s easy in the rush of daily life to get too busy to say Thank You!
As your regional reps, we are thankful for all of the wonderful artists in our region. You all make our job interesting and worthwhile.
Juried by Carol Ann Waugh, this exhibit in the Niza Knoll Gallery will continue until December 10, and includes a number of our region’s members.
Artist Talks on Saturday, November 19 from 2 to 4 pm
The deadline for submissions to the Trunk Show is coming up at the end of this month.
The Trunk Show is our opportunity to be a part of educating folks about what it is we do.
At conference in Lincoln the new trunk show will be revealed, and the region that has the highest percentage of donations to it will be awarded $250 in credit for our region to use for future show costs
We also would get “bragging rights”. Let’s show them what we can do out here in the West!
Entries for Under the Western Sun open on January 1 (which will be here before you know it!)
Are you working on something for this show?
Thanks to all of you that let us know about corrections needed to our links!
Let us know if you have any news to be shared.
Speaking of news, I would like to congratulate my fellow Regional Reps for having their quilts on display in Houston.
Margaret Abramshe had her work Stranger in the SAQA Turmoil exhibit.
And Bev Haring had her work Tsalagi: Cherokee Trail of Tears in the Hands All Around exhibit. Outstanding work, created by creative women of the Colorado/Utah/Wyoming Region of SAQA.
